If it's anything like the CNA test in NH, you'll ace it. The one here is 50% common sense, 50% about checking to see if you understand universal precautions (who knew that hand washing and wearing gloves were things people in the medical profession had to do?).

Nico's 8th birthday today. We're all lying around with impending steak coma.

A steak coma sounds really good. I'm starting to get steak cravings but all the good (reasonably priced) steak places around me have closed. Now the only place to go is the $75/per fillet place.

Also set up a couple of mouse traps, as my daughter has apprised me of an uninvited house guest.  Kitchen is in lockdown mode, with mouse-friendly noms being moved to sealed glass containers or into the fridge.  Little squeaky bugger already took out my bag of ground flaxseed.  %&@!!

It isn't just the medical field and Universal Precautions are more than just washing hands and wearing gloves. It largely has to do with how you have to view everyone that is your client so that you can prevent the spread of contaminates to everyone else. My field requires that we know what the Universal Precautions are and also how to deal with a cut. There's an 8 step blood spill procedure for cuts, that has to be followed by law.
