Went out to a coffee shop (not my usual Saturday night bookstore one) and had a bit of musical entertainment there. Picked up a couple of items on my grocery list.
Tried to find parking near a Nuit Blanche site that I visited last year but it was packed, so I went home and created my own art event. Poured a glass of cognac and played my regular clarinet for a while, then switched to the alto clarinet to do some troubleshooting of a low note that wasn't "speaking" properly. The control lever was ever-so-slightly bent such that the key wasn't centered on the tone hole, so I gently bent it back into place and the problem was fixed. Scraped down all my alto clarinet reeds to thin them out a bit, and then spent about half an hour working on the alto part for "Amparito Roca."

So S and her boyfriend were going on about Call of Duty and how the bf thought he couldn't be beat so S challenged him. I decided to make a side bet because I know how well S plays and figured I'd be safe.
