A few jobs to do around the house. It's one of those days where I've been up for hours thinking about doing these jobs, but haven't actually done any of them.

I can't seem to get the motivation.

Lol we got lucky. Both buses for the elementary and high school stop right at our house which happens to be on a corner. The kids don't have to do anything other than step off the porch and walk 30 feet.

Drinking pumpkin spice coffee and catching up on the forum.  I don't normally buy flavored coffees, and now that I have, I'm simply hoping it passes quickly.  It must have been the brain slugs or something.

I think my boss thinks that since I kicked cancer I can do anything so he just gave me my 9th project to manage. At least I've been able to do the design work for a few of them so that's been fun, and one of them includes some residential units so I get to design apartments!!! YAY!!!!!!!!! So excited to do something other than exam rooms and nurse stations and med prep areas.

Just moved Fergus into a 20 gallon tank and Bowie into Fergus's 5 gallon. Both seem happy (as happy as Bowie ever seems, he's a pretty subdued guy) and I kind of can't wait until I get back from vacation so I get get the diamond head tetras to put in with Ferg so he has friends. His new lighting makes him look so purdy.

Going to do some watercolor color wheels today at lunch to test out "tropical triads" and work out a palette to take with me on vacay.

And last week I bought a hand of bananas that weren't how I like them so I left them to ripen over the week. Now I have 5 perfectly ripe, non-bruised bananas that will be bad by the end of the day so I'm going to go into banana overload today and be totally sick of them right before I go to Hawaii. Nice timing, me.

Eating. I don't normally eat in the afternoon because I put off eating until evening so I can take my pills with food, but I'm hungry. I had leftover chili for breakfast, mostly just to get rid of it. I made chili using McCormick's chili seasoning which I got on a buy one, get one sale, but I doubt I'll use the second packet now. It wasn't very good. The seasoning consisted primarily of a lot of chili powder with just a touch of cayenne for heat, so all I tasted was chili powder. It doesn't seem practical to invest in a collection of spices to make my own seasoning, so I guess I'll be on the lookout for a seasoning mix that offers something more.
