What's everyone up to right now?

Only two alarm? Let me know how it turns out. Mine's at least 5 alarm. The kids eat it without breaking a sweat because they're just so used to it.

Next year I'm growing more Carolina Reaper peppers.  Diablo

Yeah, heh, I thought two alarm was rather lame myself.

I have a friend who owns a geese removal company. His dogs always send those fuckers away.

I don't mind them at this time of year  as my lawns already mostly dead and they have a long journey south. .

trying to remember where my day went.

Oh right.

Trying to fix my fecking computer.

It's only like 2 years old but for the past year I've been getting warning messages telling me I'm out of storage and, lo and behold, when I check the storage capacity of the C:\ there's like 2GB available. Right now it's at about 500MB. WTF? I keep next to nothing on the hard drive, I've uninstalled every program that it not necessary to my daily work (which means I have AutoCAD, MS Office, Adobe and like four other things totally <10GB all combined)...

Back to googling to fix the stupid thing.

Cutting up onions and jalapenos to add to my chili. Cutting up the onions wasn't too hard, but cutting and coring jalapenos when you've only got one finger is a bit of a challenge.

This might help.

Well, my chili didn't turn out so good. It was rather dull and flavorless. In fairness to Wick Fowler, I had about twice as much ingredients as the seasoning mix is designed for, so that makes sense. So I added a packet of McCormick's Hot Chili seasoning mix and it helped add a little heat to it, but not much flavor. I think it could use more salt and some garlic. I'd avoided garlic because I don't like hot sauces that use a lot of garlic, but I think it would add to the flavor. Salt I have. Garlic, unfortunately, I don't have. I'll have to do that next time. Still not sure why it's so flavorless. That was a problem with my first batch of chili, too. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Oh well, each batch is getting a little better. I don't think the fresh onion and jalapenos added much to it, but I'm still glad I went to the trouble to add them.

I was watching the Vikings / Jets game again, but you reminded me of the Falcons / Giants game, so I switched over. Turns out I can hit rewind on ESPN to watch it from the beginning.
