Making plans to annex the Sudetenland and invade Poland.

Packed up a couple truckloads of stuff for storage, put my blinds back up, looked at two houses, and now I'm taking a well deserved rest.

I guess I'm fighting a cold or something, not sure. Thought I was feeling better earlier, but back to feeling meh. Glad I can sleep in tomorrow. Worrying about some odd feelings in my chest and puzzling over some computer diagnostics which aren't making complete sense. One tool reported that there was a read failure trying to read one of the sectors on a new (used) disk, and the self-diagnostics on the drive report that there is one outstanding flaky sector which the drive hasn't bypassed by remapping it to somewhere else on the disk. However, running the manufacturer's own tool doesn't result in any complaints about the bad sector. I'm leaning toward the manufacturer's tool being less adept than the other tool, and am going to attempt to get the two programs to reconcile by doing a full format on the disk, which should force the disk to move that bad sector out of the usable storage pool and replace it with a good sector. Then both programs will likely agree. Unfortunately it takes 4-5 hours to run each of these tests, and I've got two more disks that need to be tested and validated by the end of the week.

Currently watching Cutter's Way, because it was recommended in the Inside Black Mirror book, though it's not clear where the connection is either from the book or what I've seen of the film so far, but here's a clip that shows how great it is:
If anyone wants to know how people can look at the injustices of the world and do nothing, that's why. Also, as threatened last week, this week's entry of The Deep Hurting Project will be Vaxxed: From Cover-Up to Conspiracy. I fully intend to rip this film a new asshole so big you'll have to start calling it Goatse. Not now, maybe tomorrow or the day after.
