I made a couple of chalkboards and a bed, then refinished our kitchen table (that my wife used to hide -her- veggies in when she was a kid) today....after I seeded a few acres worth of Roma VF and Supersweet 100.  

Arms feel like noodles. All of my little cabbages are asleep. Decompressing.

Let my Dad fiddle with my laptop for about an hour, and he thinks he fixed the printing problem. Something to do with printer privileges making everything spotty, especially on my computer. I tried some printing jobs and it looks like he fixed it. And when I print something, it even removes it from the queue automatically when it's done. On the rare occasions I had been able to make it work in the past year, I had to delete it when it was done printing and wait a few minutes for it to actually clear before I could get anything else to print. Yes, that's how fucking backwards the printer had been acting for a year. And now, it's working like normal.


And now, let's see how it takes before it fucks everything up again.

I know that kind of fatigue, really. I try to avoid it all costs these days. I realized recently that I'm really out of condition. I started doing squat thrusts and other exercises with two 20# dumbbells. I don't hurt as much as I expected, but still hurt. Guess I can pick up the pace.

OM fucking...god...don't even get me started.  I'm still waiting on textbooks to be delivered.  Science textbooks, of all things.   It's my entire wheelhouse in this dynamic.  So, basically, while I wait for that, I;ve been employing my kids in collecting raw data for UK and EKU and just sort of saying to myself "that's applied science".

At this moment, in a sane world, I would be packing up my things from work and heading off to Des Plaines to do my business ethics midterm. Unfortunately, I'm in Day Six of The Cold That Would Not Fucking Die, so I'm stuck at home. As a result of this, I'm currently in my room watching this week's entry in the Deep Hurting Project: Getaway.

Just got home after being out for a few hours.

Had to leave Major, my Jack Russell, inside. He worked out how to undo the latch on the sliding door to the lounge. He seems have spent a happy hour or so on one of his favourite things; shredding books. I had previously moved all the book cases so my books would be safe.

I will be going to thee hardware shop shortly, to see what they have by way of latches. Doesn't matter too much, books are only things, and he is just little dog, doing what comes naturally to him.
