You sure? Lot's of work involved in that Dunno Chevy motors aren't better or worse. I love a chevy with a chevy motor and I love a ford with a ford motor.
I'm not really a fan boy of anybody. (both corporates can both get stuffed!). Fireball, they put the sbc motors into hot rods, not because of cost, but because they fit!

The SBF block deck height is lower that the SBC, seems like it would be easier to fit.

BoT, I'm looking for an older pickup, and I can't believe the trash being advertised at huge prices.

The one person that I had any outside contact with outside of work has just been sacked.
Who will I gossip to now?
How will I find out what the goss is?
This is a fucked up situation.
Now I'm going to have to make another friend.

We officially cancelled my Door County vacation. Six new cases of COVID today. Also, I found out that the post office has a service where you can find out in advance what's coming in the mail. Dad signed up for it. I now have it bookmarked.

Just finished installing a new urine deflector on the toilet seat.  Thumb up

I just stopped by mum's place earlier and she was making savoury mince on toast, so I had to stay for tea.
Apparently she's making corn meat and vege with white sauce tomorrow night.
I might have to stop by again. :-)

Trying to figure out what I believe in! Because I'm having an existential crisis regarding my pantheism/deism.

What is your default position whilst trying to figure out what you believe?

Ignostic is my default.
We'll until someone can explain to me what a god is and why I need one. It's working out very well so far. No unnecessary baggage.

Spent a good part of today playing with a new app (to me) called 645 PRO, specifically the O+ film stock, based on orthographic black and white film that I found out about from an article on The Lighthouse.

Here’s some photos:

(Weird thing about orthochromatic film: if it's day, it makes little difference whether it's high noon or twilight, because either way, the sky will be a cloudless white.)

It’s an ancient sort of film stock that’s insensitive to red light (and to a lesser extent, green) that was most common about a century ago until panchromatic film stock became popular and is thus perfect for that film, even if it's clearly not the most glamorous stock and the app even recommends it mostly for photographing documents.

I keep the ISO somewhere between 50 and 250 (ideally about 80) and the aspect ratio at 7:6+ (the same arcane aspect ratio as The Lighthouse)

The only real problems with the app:
1. I had to pay $3.99 for it.
2. No video mode.
3. No two-strip technicolor mode (yes, I checked all the stocks and cross-referenced them with all the available filters).
4. It includes several aspect ratio modes from square to 17:6, but not 1.66:1 or even any approximation of Scope.

Other than that, I highly recommend it.

Also, I picked up another film for the Deep Hurting Project: Holmes and Watson. It’s the only DHP film to be set in England, and except for the Atlas Shrugged trilogy (which is all checked out and therefore not an option until the library starts to actually accept book and DVD returns), it’s the last film in the Project for adults. Unless, of course, I check out everything else available and I have to resort to YouTubing shitty films that even the library doesn’t have again. Or I finally watch the Drawn Together movie I planned to watch in Door Coutny.

There is none for me because to me whether God exists depends on what we mean by God. I'm just starting to think that the definition I was using before is more nihilistic/meaningless than I realized.
