Just got back from visiting a lady who used to work at the vet clinic we use. She has had some severe health problems this year and is pretty much housebound, even more so than she was with COVID. She has a special pillow she wants me to try to make a cover or covers for.

Not sure who was more hungry for human contact...Deb or her dog. My dogs had to sniff all the strange dog smell off me when I got home...I was cheating on them with another dog for a couple hours.

Nico came home today without his surgical wrap. Scab is gone but there is still some healing to do. The foot now needs more air than the boot was allowing but still needs to be protected. I ran over to Target and bought some infant socks and they seem to be working.

And his nails on that foot could really use a clipping but we'll wait a few more days for that adventure.
I don't have an anger problem, I have an idiot problem.

I have been playing Skyrim all day and napping from time to time. Damn it feels good to be a couch bum sometimes.

I had some spicy Udon noodles for lunch and monster cookies for a snack. (Oatmeal raisin with M&M's)

I'll hit the gym in a couple hours and then get some dinner.

Later on tonight I plan on going to the UFC fights at a local pub. I'll have a Guinness or two and enjoy what should be some good battles. I don't know anyone on the card, so that usually means that the fighters are hungry to win.

The renter called to say that the water heater was leaking. What's funny is that I was over there Wednesday with a painter getting an estimate to repaint the place, and didn't notice it. But then I wasn't looking for trouble.  Rolleyes I sure am glad one of my sons has experience with construction, that he learned from his dear old, graying dad.   Great  We both picked up the water heater, which made it easy. I used to do that kind of thing all on my own. The real time consumer was draining the thing into a bucket and dumping it at the curb so that the hot water didn't run out onto the lawn and kill it. I know someone who did that, once.   Panic
