What's everyone up to right now?
RE: What's everyone up to right now?
I'm sharing new and old content on my forum based off my YouTube channel and talking to my cousin.

Just took a trip about 20km up the track. I had noticed this Xmas Warehouse shop. It was fascinating, and expensive. They have these large LED trees (about2.5 metres) which flash their lights in a programmed manner. They are $500 . They also had a vaguely tree-like thing, with 640 red LED globes. Meant to be a cherry tree. That was $899.

Lots of decorations at around $20-30. Small individual baubles start at $12. I'll definitely stick to my 1point metre something LED tree. That was $80.

Geez I fucking hate Xmas.

Now that I’m out of work, And inspired by his hearing me play the latest Shane Speal video, we’re seriously considering making cigar box guitars as a job.

I plan to start a pot roast this morning, then it's Christmas shopping and listening to the talking heads. I've only got one more big gift to get.

I don't even know what to get for the kids this year. Last year everyone got quilts. This year I am struggling to think of gift ideas. It's possible they may all get quilts again as I have figured out how to make bigger ones on my little sewing machine.

Almost finished my Christmas shopping. I need one more medium-sized gift. I'll have to make two trips to the Amazon pickup counter at Whole Foods. I've started sending additional stuff to other pickup locations, but I've ordered more than will fit in my cart that I use for hauling groceries and packages already. Fortunately about half of it is ready for pickup, and the rest won't be delivered until tomorrow or later.

I had a real hard time figuring out birthday gifts for my sisters in August. I think I was experiencing depression at the time, which affects my ability to be creative and persevere in looking for gifts. I think I was depressed recently as well, but it seems to have lifted earlier this week. I still need stocking stuffers, and the money pot is running low, but that can wait until December. Quilts are always good. One of my sisters makes fleece blankets for me, and the other sister gave me a Minnesota Twins blanket. That sister likes football, so I'm giving her a large, Minnesota Vikings themed throw.

Due to the shockingly large number of people on our gift list who have poor vision, everyone’s getting handmade wooden eyeglass/sunglass cases.

That sounds very cool!

A couple years ago when I went to pick up new glasses they wanted to give me a soft case that looked way too much like a leather chew. I had to request a hard case so that one of the dogs didn't make short work of a tasty case and my much needed glasses.

I made one for the wife’s reading glasses about six months ago. It was her idea to make more as gifts. I build them, she carves the recipient’s initial on the lid.

Six more (out of sixteen) to go.

I legit forgot that last night was Daylight Saving, so when I woke up this morning I thought I was late to lunch when in fact I was early. Could've slept for another hour.
