Plans changed, my son has two houses to visit, thankfully last night we convinced him to come to our's is first. The ex's hoard are rabid antivaxxers.
So the turkey went in early, should be done by noon.

Enjoying not having to have been up and in the kitchen at zero dark thirty this morning. I have a couple dishes to make to take to daughter's house but don't need to start them for a few hours since we are going around 4 or 5. Daughter says 4 or 5 which means we might eat at 6 or 7. She is still working on the timing thing with so many different dishes.

Got my cheesy green bean casserole started. I did better this time, the only hitch was that I had several bundles of garlic that had accumulated over time, and I couldn't tell what was fresh. So I used garlic from a jar. I think I added a bit too much, but once it was mixed in there was nothing to do about it.

A little too much salt this time. Still, it's not bad, and the cheese sauce is better this time. Better bacon, too.

Just bought a black friday Dell Inspiron, $549, on my kids advice. Gets here Dec 3.
God only knows how long after arrival it will be functioning.

Black Friday was never a thing in Oz. Bloody well is now. It has been imported, just like Halloween. I've had several emails about the sales. Not going.
Of course we also have the sales immediately before Xmas and another one on Boxing Day. I rarely go. Hate crowds. Still do OK by shopping around. Seldom pay retail for big ticket items. Also shop at four different supermarkets shopping as much as possible by specials.
There is also a massive factory outlet shopping centre where I usually spend half of my annual $250 clothes budget. Usually wear Levi Strauss jeans, T shirt and pullover. Summer replace the Tshirt and pullover with really loud, really vulgar Hawaiian shirts. I have six, and have had them for about 20 years.
