I want to toss some cash at the community, but timing is everything. For all but 60 days of the year I run at a loss in the tens of thousands and don't have a dollar to my name.

Experimenting with my morning coffee. Making it closer to the recommended strength, grinding it right before brewing, and using a little better bean. I'm trying some Brazilian this morning. It is indeed nutty. I also picked up a bag of Columbian, which I'll probably like better.

Just watched S5E7 of riding with Norman Reedus. Mostly biking thru S NZ. You guys are fuggedup but in the best kind of way. That's exactly my kind of vacation trip.

Looking at graphics cards. Newegg has an MSI Ventus RTX 2060 OC for $420 + $40 coupon + $20 rebate. It's a little slower than the GTX 1080's that I've been looking at on Ebay, but this will be new rather than used, for less than $100 price difference.

Looking at graphics cards. Newegg has an RTX 2060 for $420 - $40 coupon - $20 rebate, but it has the standard 6GB of VRAM. I'm leaning towards opting for a similar Asus card, but with 12GB of VRAM, so that it won't be obsoleted as quickly. It's $70 more, but I think it's the way to go. The biggest downside is that the card takes up 2.7 slots, which may mean giving up my second x16 slot. I've tested moving the extra disk controller to the third x16 slot and it's good. I've got a 2TB SSD on the motherboard, so I can feasibly give up the extra SSD which is now in the second slot. I need to reinstall windows anyway.
