What's everyone up to right now?

Busy couple of weeks coming up, we are leaving for an extended visit back the the USA, leaving two weeks from tomorrow in our tiny car with camping gear and two dogs.

We found someone to house-sit while we're gone, which is a tremendous relief and frankly means less work for us, both when we leave and when we come back months from now.

Along with other things, keep us posted on the progress with Taz.  It's so cool the perfect vet is near your USian home.

We found someone to house-sit while we're gone, which is a tremendous relief and frankly means less work for us, both when we leave and when we come back months from now.

Just make sure that they'll leave when you come back, not like the people in our rental house who haven't paid rent in 4 months. And whom we can't kick out because LA County has a moratorium on evictions until the end of the year. I think that it's time to pay a team of rent-a-renters to move in and be a nuisance until the non-payers leave. I know that they actually have the money. 

Fortunately he's someone we already knew.

Just finished watching Dateline after a full day playing World of Warcraft. Tomorrow I will be with friends playing Dungeons & Dragons and having a good homecooked meal with them.

When I worked at the gun shop - they got a great deal on Turk made 28 gauge side by sides and shells. I thought of getting one - and now that the rabbit population is way up - wish I did...

I had a thought. We have a flood control diversion/irrigation project that runs for 40+ miles. Whistle pigs love to burrow on the banks. They're bigger and slower. That might be an excellent protein source that the dogs haven't encountered before. I think I'd have a better shot to kill ratio.

When he encounters trouble in his life, he takes it out and looks at it.
