Just finished taking meds and morning coffee. Now I've got to go through yesterday's mail.

Was able to place an order for an Asus TUF RTX 3060, but somewhere along the way the shipping date changed from May 1 - May 5 to "to be determined." I've just been reading that nVidia has announced 3000 series GPUs are now in stock, and after I got done changing the payment option, Amazon was still listing ones shipped from them as arriving mid-May, so I'm hopeful. The alternative is a 12GB RTX 2060, and there appears to be no shortage of those. Hopefully, this won't be like the PS5 situation with people placing orders, only to have them canceled later. I don't want to wait a month just to be disappointed.

So you want your disappointment RIGHT NOW!???

 

Yes. That way I can order something else sooner rather than later.

I've got something to return to Aldi's and I have a hankering for potato chips. I'll kill two birds with one stone.

I wish, but neither. One local seller claims to have fresh kill/clean, the other frozen.

Found out that the fresh kill will not have a supply until next month, picked up two frozen ($25).

Feels like I need to take some walks in the fields with the .22 or 410. It's been 40+ years since I've cleaned a rabbit but I think I'm up to it.

I use a 22.

When I worked at the gun shop - they got a great deal on Turk made 28 gauge side by sides and shells. I thought of getting one - and now that the rabbit population is way up - wish I did...

Busy couple of weeks coming up, we are leaving for an extended visit back the the USA, leaving two weeks from tomorrow in our tiny car with camping gear and two dogs.

We found someone to house-sit while we're gone, which is a tremendous relief and frankly means less work for us, both when we leave and when we come back months from now.

Just make sure that they'll leave when you come back, not like the people in our rental house who haven't paid rent in 4 months. And whom we can't kick out because LA County has a moratorium on evictions until the end of the year. I think that it's time to pay a team of rent-a-renters to move in and be a nuisance until the non-payers leave. I know that they actually have the money.
