Chilling for a couple of hours at our AirBnB outside of Yuma, before we go meet up with another AF alumni and her family for dinner.

Next stop, Stockton CA, then one long ass driving day to Vancouver, WA.

I got two movies in the mail today: a Blu-Ray of Spree, a dark comedy about a YouTuber/not-Uber driver/livestreamer who decides to film a murder spree, and a DVD (imported from Korea because Criterion's really dragging its feet with releasing it) of Michael Haneke's The Seventh Continent. Dad actually asked "get anything fun?" as I was opening the latter. If you know anything about The Seventh Continent or Michael Haneke's style, you should probably be aware of the grim irony there, especially given that it's a film made by a director with a notoriously dark oeuvre about middle-class ennui that leads to a family annihilation.

Done with work for today...at least until I get notified that someone forgot to give me info for the payroll that's already entered.

It's dark...thunderstorms on the way this afternoon and it's already a pretty ominous looking sky. May be a good day for a nap as yesterday was a real cluster.
