I have also been quadruple Vaxxed. And flu-shotted and the doc wants me to get a pneumonia shot. I really shouldn't be able to catch anything at this point.

For what it's worth, he seems to be well enough to drive to one of his doctors to pick up some other meds. Granted, it's a round trip, zero contact sort of deal, but still.

I almost left my chest freezer without power for over a day. It was on a direct line to power via an extension cord before, but it's currently on the nearest bedroom outlet which is a switched outlet and which also powers the bedroom light. I forgot that last night and turned it off at the switch, instead of at the lamp, thus cutting power to the chest freezer. If I hadn't been feeling a little warm and therefore tried to turn on the nearby tower fan which is on the same outlet, I might have gone days without realizing my mistake.

Seriously considering getting a new puppy. I have a lead on one that's not too far from here and will be ready to go by Christmas. Husband is very much missing Karm and I think this may be a great combo Christmas and birthday gift.

I worry less about God, reality, and questions of ultimate meaning than I do about the question of why I shop when I have no money?

"When the student is ready, the teacher will arrive."
I've been lamenting that I have no real place to build computers given the new layout of my apartment, that I would have to set up a space and take it down repeatedly so as not to have it be just some clutter in the midst of a well-organized apartment. Well, in Newegg's daily deals this morning there's a metal frame that can be used as either an open-frame case for a computer or a testbed. And it's knocked down from $40 to $25. I hadn't even considered such a thing, but now I can assemble the system under test in that frame and instead of having to pull everything apart down to the individual piece, I can just lift the whole thing up and shove it in my cabinet where I store all my computer parts. And on top of that, Paypal offered me a $20 coupon if I applied and was approved for a Paypal credit line. I've got more credit lines than I need now, so I have to weigh the impact that additional credit will have on my ability to get additional credit when the need arises, but I use Paypal a lot. A good proportion of the purchases that I make online are paid using Paypal, so this credit line is arguably worth the downside that comes with it.

According to dating app Zoosk, an average date costs $98. Excellent! Now I'll know how much to budget for my pursuit of paramours.

Bored. I don't normally donate on Thursdays and because I had a psychiatrists appointment at two, I didn't attempt to do anything productive today. Exercise and sucking down a protein smoothie and two lunches consumed all my time. I could read one of my books, but inclined as I am, it's not ideal.
