Amazon is telling me that my Sichuan peppercorns will arrive tomorrow. Given that they were still in California two hours ago, I'm a bit skeptical.

Got a call tonight that they have put my 92yo step mother on a morphine drip. It was inevitable, she'd been declining fairly rapidly for a couple of months and is on home hospice.

It's still hard to deal with.  I hope she can be relieved of pain and that you are able to find comfort and peace.

So far this morning, and it's only 10 here, Harley has played with various toys, turned a potty pad into a pile of absorbent confetti that she distributed throughout the house and eaten the corner off a pillow. She is wound tight today!

Drinking. And pondering. My ILS worker canceled so I went to the store. Picked up some marinated wings for Sunday and a bit of this and that. Gonna hit United Noodle for a couple of things later.
