What's everyone up to right now?

We've got 6+ inches of snow and it's still coming down. I'll give it about an hour and then it's time for me and the blower to make friends.

(hoping it doesn't find out that I actually hate it)

ICK - I hate winter weather.

Not as bad here but was mid 70s yesterday and today the high is supposed to be in the mid 40s.  And the wind is blowing a gale so it's gonna feel a lot colder.

At least I don't have to shovel cold.

We ended up getting 7 inches of snow (at least according to my deck railing). Cleaned 5 houses, mine, the next door neighbor's who is away in the airforce, a 71yo retiree with no help and two who left for work before the main part of the snow fell.

My back is a bit stiff. I might be getting to old for this shit!

Our neighbors back in NJ keep sending us pictures of our old house with the back deck covered in snow, and I sit here telling myself, "...yeah. Missing that. Loads. Srsly. Loads." (not srsly.)

I tease my sister who lives in a 'burb of Chicago.  She is the one who operates the snow blower...for some reason, her man won't/doesn't do it.  A few years ago he bought her a new one for Christmas.  What a romantic guy!  LOL

Been lucky with the weather here. The cyclone stayed largely east and south of us - some wind, just a few branches down. Since then, highs in the 70s, lows in the 50s.

If we could pick a season and stick with it a couple weeks in a row, I'd be happy. February is apparently going to cycle through all the seasons a few times...quite rapidly at times.

The first week of the month we were iced in. Later next week it might be 80 if the forecast is to be believed. We've had everything in between at least once.

Just watched Harley get in on her first squirrel chase. She's pretty fast but not sure exactly what was going on. Luckily none of the dogs caught the squirrel so I didn't have to extract it from any jaws.

Finally decided to buy the complete DVD sets for "The Prisoner." It's long out of print, but at least there's enough copies in circulation that I didn't even need to spend more than $29.15 for all five sets total (taxes not included). Sure, it's still streaming on a bunch of sites, but at least the DVDs actually have the episodes in an order that (mostly) makes sense (I believe the two Colin Gordon episodes should take place after "It's Your Funeral," since it's when Number 6 starts to pivot from trying to escape The Village to breaking each episode's given Number 2.)
