Puzzling over these crazy animals.

We are pretty sure that Harley is entering her first heat. My (fixed) cat is not impressed by Harley's attempts to be amorous. I have to admit to being a bit amused by it.

Watching the news. The Twins won earlier today. I haven't accomplished anything today, but I typically get little done once the evening arrives.

O MY, good luck with the next few weeks. We had to neuter our youngest cause she went bat shit crazy, not at all in a good way. Just couldn't take the behavior every 6 months.

It's starting to get pretty hot here so I want to wait till fall to do this and want her to put on some more weight.  She's tall but still skinny though she eats like a horse.  We weren't planning on breeding her anyway.  Both my boys are fixed.  I am holding out hope that a spay will calm her down a bit....hemp chews aren't doing the trick.  I am considering edibles for myself.   Truce

Just got back from the big girls award banquet, she got her letter and errything.

Our dogs are at the breed national this week. Both dogs today are competing in 'specialty group' events (based on age and past accomplishments). Nico got a first place, only two old farts limping around the ring according to the wife. Lexy was fourth out of 6, probably due to past injury faults (floppy ear after surgery/slight limp from shoulder surgery).

Tomorrow they are both entered in 'veteran' events.

I am waiting for the award for dogs who freak out over the garbage truck that goes by every damn Wednesday. Mine would place 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Sigh...Zig will be 8 this year and still think he needs to bark at the damn thing....every single time. Wouldn't be so bad but the truck goes up and down the alley twice to get each side. Then the recycle truck does the same about 8 hours later.
