I am waiting for the award for dogs who freak out over the garbage truck that goes by every damn Wednesday.  Mine would place 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.  Sigh...Zig will be 8 this year and still think he needs to bark at the damn thing....every single time.  Wouldn't be so bad but the truck goes up and down the alley twice to get each side.  Then the recycle truck does the same about 8 hours later.

Our two go bonkers when the gate to the front courtyard opens. I put up a placard that my wife bought online that says, "No soliciting, thank you". My idea was a sign that said, "No sales or soliciting, and we don't want to hear about your version of Jesus." So far so good, with doorbell ringers, using her choice. We'll see. Our dogs don't seem to mind most delivery trucks or the trash trucks, but there is one that sets them off, big time. Dunno why.

Took out one of my guitars - I put them away in February when my spine went out and the pain and loss of function kept me from playing. I'm very rusty but I think functionally I'm doing OK.

Busy work. This is my off Friday for payroll so it's sort of a clean up day with the books.

Keeping a close eye on Harley...she has an upset tummy, is drooling like crazy. But she's still running around like everything is fine. I know it's not, but suspect that since she eats most anything she can get her teeth on, I am assuming it's something she nibbled on. For now I am making sure she is drinking water, took the food up so as not to add to the distress, and just gave her a teaspoon of pumpkin to try to ease the symptoms, hopefully.
