Trying not to cry.
Manager wants me to reach out to new employee and teach her how to clock in and out on her phone. I don't even have the app. Have never used it, don't know what it looks like. And I have never been in direct contact with the people in the field. This is on top of her suddenly thinking I can communicate with team members who only speak Spanish. My Spanish is limited to what's on a menu.
Unfortunately the boss..my boss, is out hiking and tree-hugging somewhere and I have to figure out how to navigate this mess.
To add to the fun...boss is the manager's mother.
UGH!

Got a banking appointment this afternoon, so just killing a bit of time before jumping in the car to drive over there. Spent the morning reading the introductory chapter of a textbook for a Ancient Greek Society and Culture course I'm taking this summer.

Doing a little DIY home wiring. When they replaced my A/C, they swapped a 240v unit for a 120v unit, which was on the line that runs everything but the bathroom and the kitchen on it. So it's been tripping the breaker fairly regularly the last few days, so I ran a 14-guage extension cord to one of the 20A lines in the kitchen. I just need to toggle the A/C off if I use the microwave. The remote needs new batteries, so I ordered those off Ebay.

The joys of living with animals...Harley has come into her first full heat. Luckily, shortly before Karm died I had purchased a pack of doggy diapers. Put one on Harley and she proceeded to poop in it and run through the house, wagging her tail and scattering little poo bits all around. It's gonna be a long few days. sigh
And the temps are to be triple digits all week so I can't have her spend more time outside.
