Working on payroll and once again it's not without issues.
1-Me on Monday telling the person who closes the timeclocks that I will give him the go ahead late because of the number of days people have to work after the 4th to get holiday pay.
2-Yesterday after I was signed off...person closes payroll.
3-I reopen payroll so that I can look at today's attendance and determine who gets holiday pay. Knowing that since it was closed early there will be people asking why it's not showing up.
4-Early this morning I check on attendance and enter holiday pay for those who get it. Then I close payroll again.
5-I get message from general manager as teams are calling her wanting to know why holiday pay isn't showing up on their payroll.
6-Call manager and explain.
7-Me - beats head on desk. I thought step one was pretty damned clear.
AAARRRRGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

My physical therapist just left. I got yelled at for telling her I managed walk about 50 feet without using my cane. Well, more lectured than yelled at.

Watching baseball. I had to hit the oven with a second dose of oven cleaner. I got most of the grime, but I'll see what more I can get off it.

Watching baseball. Paul Skenes and Joe Ryan pitching, though I missed most of both. According to the announcers, Ryan was having some control issues, and the Pirates limited Skenes to less than five innings even though he was pitching well. I'll have to watch the start of the game tomorrow. I didn't tune in until the fourth inning and missed most of that and the fifth as I was busy cooking and eating dinner.

Trying not to get depressed. I've actually been doing really well. I'm working out every other day, I read and work on my art daily and I'm working on my third book. I always make sure my life is moving forward since I had 5 family members die, including my mom from cancer, and have been chronically depressed in the past.
