Bad news: The first official cancellation of this year’s Ravinia season: Dad’s sciatica is acting up and thus, we can’t go and see Chicago.

Good news: Kino Lorber has a tendency to do big sales on their movies with huge markups… but also some extortionate shipping rates (at least, as long as the movies in question cost less than $60.) Now that I have SSI (especially with America’s insane laws on disability and saving money creating a Black Hand), I can afford to actually splurge on them. As you can see, I got some classics, and one of them is, in my estimation, the most autistic film ever made (and if you know me, you know that’s nothing less than a compliment.) They finally arrived today.

Sounds like a positive move forward in healing.

I could maybe use a cane but learned long ago that I would most likely maim myself with crutches.  I am too uncoordinated for that.

Got it years ago after an accident that injured my leg.
