We just had an iguana ambush some chicks by dropping death-from-above from a mango tree but mama hen was nearby and convinced the iguana today is not his day.

An unknown caller told me that I'm eligible for a program which would offer a rent subsidy and $500 cash. They said they were referred by my health insurance provider and knew that I was on a disability waiver, so there are aspects which lend legitimacy to the offer, yet it also sounds like it might be a scam. They're going to call to do an application tomorrow at 11:30 A.M., I think if I have the option to review the application and they don't ask questionable info like bank or social security info, it probably isn't a scam. We'll see what they say tomorrow.

That sounds like a scam. The easy way to find out is to ask which agency they're with and then tell them that you'll call them back on their publicly listed number.
