I'm out of beer. And the only thing close is a Food Lion. Which has shitty beer. Where's that first world problems thread...

Well earned I am sure, Kichi.

Zen down for his "poppy nap" (Grandkiddies can be so exhausting) and then off to the afternoons festivities.
So far a good day with yours truly being weird with an offspring citing "Finding Nemo" references comprising the bulk of conversation.
Note to self....keep watching the "kiddies shows" then you'll know wtf they are talking about.
More coffee need...... :S

That's one of those things where you dont give it 100%
What an offensive thing to say.
Nah, don't stress. Clearly you don't give of yourself this way every two weeks. Be thankful for your ignorance.

I remembered that moment when I was 10 years old and my mother was driving me and my sisters to school, I saw this girl in this other car, I smiled and she smiled at me too, then I waved my hand to her and she did the same . I remembered how simple things were back in those days .

It is not that things were simpler when we were younger. It was just that we were less aware of all the crap going on around us because of our innocence. We were not concerned with adult problems.

yeah you're right, but I was saying it from my perspective of those old days, I meant when I was younger

Finished reading a long pathetic email from my ex bf. lol
Did not reply, and don't intend to. I deleted it. It took me by surprise, honestly...for I don't dwell on him and all that, anymore. But, interesting to note, six months ago, a year ago...I would have been spinning over it. The human mind is an incredible thing. It needs to process loss. Even if the loss was a good thing to have happen. It takes time to detach from those who you know were bad for you. I'm no longer emotionally attached to this guy, and so when I was reading the letter, and I honestly skimmed through it, because it was just stupid to me at this point...I really viewed it objectively. I thought ...this guy must be low on female attention lately, so he's circling back to what he knows. And abusers tend to think that their prior victims have not changed, like they haven't. But, I've worked hard on myself since that breakup, and it feels really great, to be inidfferent. I share this here, to help others, only. If my situation could help another person leave a toxic relationship, that would be a good thing.
It's sad though, that he never learns. Most likely, a fuckload of karma has come upon the boy...lol And he now is crawling back to me. If I were still emotionally vested, I'd reply to him. But, what it took for it to end...was me. I had the power to end the abusive cycle, the entire time.
Now...off to get some things done. Thx for listening, peoples.
