Going to ask her to write a poem for me and my fiancé when we get married as well. It's not really her thing but I figure, why not? Weird how re-connecting with people make you happy.

I'd hold out for more, personally, but selling your soul for the low, low price of $50 seems like a clever scheme. Asking for more would be both more suspicious to the buyer and possibly put the price beyond the reach of most buyers, whereas selling it for $50 makes the price very attainable, and you can always sell it again when you're a bit strapped for cash...

At the emergency room. Waiting for tests and such to see what's wrong with me. (*)

(*). I shoulda just had em poll the AF membership. I'm sure you guys have all sorts of opinions. :p

That remains to be seen. It was potentially serious enough that immediate care sent me to the ER but not so serious that they insisted on an ambulance ride.

They drew a bunch of blood and did an abdominal CT scan. That should be revealing.

Yeah. I had it last year, complication from influenza. That shit put me in ICU for 8 days, nearly killed me. They caught it early this time.

Thankfully, they didn't make me stay in the hospital this time.
