This has been "Social Interaction Week."

On Thursday, like I wrote earlier, my once estranged ex-girlfriend/current best friend (because she's awesome and I finally learned how not to be a selfish idiotic coward) hung out for seven hours, talking, laughing, sharing, apologizing, etc. It was great, and cemented why I love her and why I missed her and why even though we can never be a romantic couple again I want her in my life until the day I die.

Today, my brotha from anotha motha (my sister-in-law's younger brother with whom I share an exact birthday with... we went to high school together) and his fiancée came over, and we hung out for about four hours. More talking, laughing, etc.

I don't have a lot of real life friends. The ones I do have are people I cherish. And it's hard for me to see them given the innate transportation issues stemming from being disabled while living in rural NH, so seeing two of them in a span of three days is incredibly rare. So, yeah, it's been a good week. I'm simultaneously exhausted and exhilarated.

Chased around a stray dog all afternoon trying to find it and get the owner's information. It's been loose for at least two days and I have yet to catch it.
