Yeah, everything I did with that avocado. I know better. Especially after so many years working with food. The knife definitely wasn't the right tool for the job. I know a few tricks, but appreciate everyone's take on pitting an avocado.

So, I'm stitched up with a dressing and splint. I went to work, got about 45 minutes in when the big boss heard about me. Called me into the office, asks me what's up with my finger. I tell her. I'm informed I can't work with stitches. Not even with a glove. I need to be able to completely and thoroughly wash my hands. Policy. I get it, but this sucks because I'm supposed to get then removed in 10 days. Sad

Happy 10 day holiday!  (I trust they'll pay you?)

WtW- I would love a vacation, but sadly no. I will lose income. It happened at CD's and I don't have the full benefits. Sad

I will try to take advantage of the time I get though. I'm hoping to get the stitches out sooner than later.

I wish that they would invent artificially super intelligent computers already. I can be friends and talk with that, instead of have to talk with, or be friends with human beings anymore. I just want to be in virtual reality, with my super intelligent AI hologram who I can actually enjoy my time with.
