Nah not too serious, but thanks. Looks like it's the standard cold plus a bit of fever that every kid picks up from daycare now and then.

Just saw on the news that a 15-year-old girl was attacked by a guy on in a park I frequently walk/run through.  It happened on a really public stretch of path (right next to a fairly busy neighborhood run just up the street from a school) and right in front of a family.  The girl was okay and the attacker detained by a good samaritan until the cops arrived so at least he's off the streets.  There was a report of a suspicious person in the area the day before and it's suspected to be the same guy that was just arrested.

Triple checking my locks tonight.  Maybe I'll bring my phone to bed, too...

ah! The 3-day fever.
The general advice doctors gave me was: keep using ibuprofen (every 8 hours) and, if need be, interlaced with paracetamol (4 hours after ibuprofen)... just to keep the fever down and the child feeling less sick.
