It's funny, I'm probably farther north than you are and our winters are usually mild.

I was out in Washington once, when I was 17 years old. It was beautiful. I would love to go back and visit. I'd also need to stop through Oregon and get a tour of Fire Mountain gems. They are a huge warehouse selling only on the internet. No brick and mortar store, but they love for their customers to stop through and get a tour and meet all the helpful people there. I've been ordering my jewelry supplies from them for over six years now.

I've never heard of that place, so I looked it up. Grant's Pass - that's practically in California, it's a long drive from here, maybe 5 hours on a good day. I figured it would be in eastern Oregon which is a very nice place to visit. If you did go down there, Crater Lake national park is pretty.much mandatory, at least for the 3 months that the road isn't closed due to... You guessed it - snow!

You're definitely farther north than I am because I live in Georgia lol! But yea, the north east tends to have uglier winters than the north west.
