I just dropped my kid off to school.
Today's pajama day and even the teachers are wearing them.
There's some real yummy teachers there.
Anyway, I'm starting to get pissed off.
There's a fruit bucket that you put fruit into each day and the kids have a communal fruit salad thing for morning tea.
Lately I've been counting the amount of fruit compared to how many kids are there.
About half of their parents aren't bothering to put fruit in.
Maybe I'm just getting old and petty.
Like how the guy next door leaves his bins out for two or three days after the bin man's been.
It drives me nucking futs.

Just finished my day's work of "Konmarieing" (a decluttering method) my paperwork... I've been at it solidly for four days now and have so far reduced seven lever arch files to less than half of one! It's soooo liberating It's amazing how much crap you can keep 'just in case' you might need it in the future, but when you really think about it, and try to instead actively justify keeping something you realise just how little you really need or will realistically use in the future. I've seen my sister use this method already to reduce a three drawer filing cabinet to the equivalent of about one lever arch file, and being a hoarder by nature, I had doubts that it would work for me but I've been very pleasantly surprised how easy it has been, how rewarding - in the sense of letting go of baggage - and how much fun... I just can't wait to get on it the moment I wake up. Basically it's a positive method of decluttering because you only keep what 'sparks joy'... so you let your gut decide the worth of something. It's a bit harder to do the joy bit with paperwork - as opposed to clothes or whatever - but it's still possible... kind of about being in tune with what is meaningful to your life right now, going forward, rather than living in the past or the future. Anyway, basically it feels great to reset... so I'm buzzing

No worries. It's highly treatable at this stage.

Had to run errand in town this afternoon, it sucked.

After supper went and checked work the hired man is doing on cutting down cedar trees (an invasive species here). That was almost too hot to do too.
