If I'm making one for a local here, yes.  If it's for me, I add mayo and a slice of cheese.  First had one that way in Wisconsin and it is a wonderful way of kicking a BLT up a notch.

Did one with romaine once, but couldn't tell the diffy from iceberg.  The tomatoes HAVE TO BE local garden grown, no store bought.  Also, maybe not authentic, but I coarsely dice the tomato to get tomato all the way across the square toast.

Bacon has to be extra thick slice, Wright preferred, but the Costco extra thick works.  Curiously, the last package of Costco bacon was TOO lean, didn't cook up quite right and I admit, I was surprised, didn't realize bacon could be too lean ever.
I'm a big fan of the club sandwich. Not sure if you have them there.
Three pieces of toast(double decker) cut into quarters with each piece held together by a toothpick.
Filling - Bacon, turkey, cranberry spread, mesclun lettuce, parmesan cheese, tomato, avocado and Caesar dressing.
You can use plain mayo but then you have to add anchovies. I'm also a fan of home grown tomatoes. Also home grown bacon - I love that gamey flavour.
 A friend of mine raises pigs for eating and I provide the kitchen scraps.
 I also have a friend who owns a pig box and his brother is a butcher. So I like wild boar too. I get the bacon cut at about 5 or 6 cms and cook it like steak. :-)

I put this little pile of clean clothes on the end of my piano about two weeks ago.
I'm standing in the kitchen brewing up a cuppa and I just happen to look over in that direction and they fall to the floor.
Now, I don't believe in ghosts or any of that crap, but what a fucking coincidence!
Have they been unbalanced ever so slightly for two weeks?
The piano's on concrete so I don't imagine it was vibrations from me walking in the room.
How fucked up is your life when that's the most exciting thing to happen all day.
