So this Computer Systems class is going to be a little more difficult than I thought. I have one of those profs who was a programmer for Bell Labs back in the 70s, and now is a fellow at Argonne National Laboratories.
He has stumbled on one of my weaknesses pretty early in the class, pointers and dynamic memory allocation/tracking. I wasted a lot of time in the weeds recreating malloc() for a project.

I'm getting ready to nestle down with my 5th Dan Brown book. I've read Digital Fortress, Deception Point, The Davinci code and The Lost Symbol. Now I'm on Angels and demons. I stayed up till 7 one morning and I blame it all on Alex K.
