We live in Georgia. Ohio summer is nothing.

I wonder how Georgia compares with Maryland just outside Washington DC? Spent a few summers there in the 60's. Sticky hot.

It's only 75 right now but it's supposed to get up to mid 90s today. It's been a very mild summer I think, so far at least. Georgia is hot and humid pretty much all year.
And yes it took me a long time to get used to the stickiness when I moved here
