Trying to check out some new authors. Kind of tired of fantasy and crime. Looking into sci-fi. Might read Alastair Reynold's The Prefect.

My computer was briefly "crypto-jacked" last night. My security software quarantined something it identified as a bit coin miner.
I deleted it from the quarantine area. I knew something was up, laptop slowed way down and then I received a security notification. And then today there's an article in the newspaper about it. The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.
