And I did a bit of writing, transcribing and rewriting a few pages from a novel first draft into Google Docs.  Amazing how much one's writing style can change in 12 years -- well, not really.  I'd be worried if my style didn't change.

I'd love to write.  I've got ideas but I never seem to be able to put them down on paper (or e-doc) in more than short bursts of dialogue, scene description or general plot thought.



Procrastinating starting my day.

Okay, not really, I got in a 6:30am and now it's 8:10am and I'm taking my first break.  I'm really procrastinating starting my next project.

I have a heart scan/EKG thing this afternoon because I still get really light headed during exercise so docs are checking me out to make sure chemo didn't damage my heart tissue or something.  I should have skipped gym last night since I'll be exercising again today.  Meh, live and learn.

My aquarium has snails now, so bummer.  It's yet to be seen whether they are the kind that eat live plants or the kind that clean the tank.  I think they're either pond snails or acute bladder snails and there is conflicting information about whether they'll gobble up Fergus's flora or not.  If they start causing damage I'm going to have to abort his tank cycling and rebuild his set up.  Hopefully the snails haven't infested the filter.  Option 2 will be to buy an assassin snail.

I used my lunch break to go to Barnes and Noble to buy Woodward's Fear -- one copy for me and one for my dad.

I have three coworkers who want to read my copy when I'm finished. I am more than happy to oblige them.

I am about to pull off the first and I hope only all-nighter cramming studying session of my life. Tomorrow is the day of my last exam before graduation. 5 years of study, coming to a close, and the PhD admission exam so near... I cannot fail
