It really was just a fart?

Oh no, it was a full and impressive shite (the state of my pants would make Jackson Pollock gulp with disbelief).

But the relief is that we just got Ellen’s test results, and it’s not as serious as the doctors thought it might be.

Sorry for joking.

Really glad the results are more positive than expected. That's great news.

Luv, if you didn’t joke, I’d think you’d been replaced with a pod person.

She was having numbness in her hands and feet, chests pains, etc, so we were more than a little concerned. Turned out to be Addison’s anaemia, easily treatable. Ta for your concern.

My mother-in-law has Addison's, but I don't think she's anemic. I do know she blacks out and had to surrender her driver's license years ago because of it.

She likely has Addison’s disease, not Addison’s anaemia. The first is when the adrenals don’t produce enough hormones, the second (what my wife has) is when the stomach doesn’t produce enough something or other to absorb B12 (I only learned the difference a few hours ago).

Yes, she has Addison's disease. I do know that she's on a lot of steroids and she's got fibromyalga as well.

Off to bed. Kind of a weird afternoon and it's my bet it will extend into tomorrow. I just love dealing with the authorities.

Found some water on the laundry room floor in the basement last night and it took several hours for us to figure out where exactly it was coming from (a faulty waterline in an abandoned humidifier). And then there was a smaller leak, this time from the hot water valve (drip by drip.) I think we've got it sorted out.
