SMOKED LEG OF LAMB FTW! Man, that was tasty! I usually roast it on a spit, but man, this is a great alternative (especially since someone else did the work).

I can't imagine why it wouldn't be amazing.  I gotta try that sometime.  Was it done on or off the bone?

Go ahead and make those calls. It won't kill them. It may not kill you, either, but that's what they are there for. Having had panic attacks in the past, I completely sympathize.

It was bone -in. I have a propane grill that I usually use, but my son got a smokin'  deal on the smoker. Retail was $800. The customer apparently spilled some fat on it, which caught fire and burned a patch of paint. They returned it and my son got it for $96.

Just got back from the store. In addition to groceries and Christmas clearance items I bought in anticipation of next year, I bought a Christmas card for my ILS worker, which I'll personalize with a note, and a box of Christmas cards, from which I'll use two to give to the two volunteers that deliver the Meals-On-Wheels meals during the week. I got $10 gift cards for the local grocery store that I'll include with each. It's not much, but I think they'll appreciate the thought, even if they're a little late for Christmas.

Putting together a Christmas card for my ILS worker. I had a number of things planned for morning / afternoon, but was feeling lazy this morning and didn't think I'd get anything done, or, at least, not done when I had planned to do them. But a couple tylenol for my headache, some coffee, and a spurt of energy, and I've accomplished my entire morning to-do list with time to spare.
