Drinking coffee and fixing computer problems. Two of my computers were having trouble talking to one another. I have my Little Canada book club this afternoon. We'll be discussing Niall Ferguson's "The Ascent Of Money." I've got other junk scheduled later, which I forget. I've got several chapters of Marcus Aurelius' Meditations to read by Wednesday, and the 3 hours I'll spend on the bus today would be an excellent time, but I just don't feel like it.

This week in the Deep Hurting Project will be The Babe Ruth Story, allegedly one of the worst sports movies of all time, and from what I've seen, may actually end up being the worst film in the Project. Just to put that film into proper perspective, I'm currently starting to watch Pride of the Yankees, not only another Yankees biopic made around the same time, but also featuring Babe Ruth... playing himself! How does one film end up on four of the AFI 100 Years lists and the other ends up as part of the Deep Hurting Project? Stay tuned...
