When I came home from work yesterday, I found a little box that could have been just the size for a pedal. Unfortunately for me, it was just a device that uses ozone to clean his sleep apnea breathing mask. I mentioned this to Dad, and I had to remind him that we ordered the Lumpy's Tone Ship 7 Series overdrive. We asked the guy who makes them what gives, and he said that he was getting behind in his orders and that we should expect it at some point between a few days from now and mid-November (there's supposed to be a 3-4 week lead time.) And somehow, when Dad tried to forward the correspondence to me, it just wouldn't send. Apparently, something Lumpy put in his email somehow kept those emails from being sent to me. Dad has been working with computers since they used punch cards and he doesn't understand why this would happen. But at least it's on the way.

And to update the saga, it has apparently been shipped out and should be arriving sometime this week. Apparently the reason it was having so much trouble forwarding to me is because, as a result of his working for a community college, his email is protected by a firewall. While it’s good as a spam filter, somehow, Lumpy’s messages made it a false positive. An extremely false positive with a score of over 1000. Therefore, it won’t forward properly. And, hopefully, it’ll be the last time I talk about it before I actually get to play through the damn thing.
