Listening to the impeccable music taste selections by Odysseus, while trying to focus on my latest short story and envision in various ways it can play out, I got the midstory pretty well developed, but I get an unmistaken feeling that it comes off as fake or contrived or some shit. I basically want the story arc to be organic, if that makes sense.
