What's everyone up to right now?

My new coffee maker arrived! It's all shiny and new! There's so much slick stainless steel that I feared I might drop it. It's brewing a first pot of plain water. It's taller than my old one, but I can still operate it in the old spot.

I like it a lot, with one caveat. It doesn't beep when it's done or when it shuts off, like my old one and the Cuisinart. That's almost a deal breaker.
Simmering two batches of sloppy joe fixings. Most recipes call for ketchup as a base, but Joy Of Cooking recommends chili sauce. So I'm comparing it with store-bought chili sauce condiment and homemade chili sauce.
