Aviator gin was on a two-fer at the liquor store.
My insurance agent told me that since we haven't had a claim in 13 years stepson #2's recent intersection with a parked car might only cost us our deductible. I'm ok with that.

I know that where I am, if the outlay by the insurance company is less than $1k, they can't raise your rates. My econobox has been hit 3 times, all while parked. TWICE before I even got the first oil change.
At least the last time, somebody saw it happen and I got it fixed on the guy's insurance. The first time was at the local senior center, and the old coot/cootette probably didn't even realize that had hit my car. I've seen people run over and knock down signs in that parking lot, including nearly mowing down people. When I reported the damage to the police, they said that it would really be nice if that parking lot had cameras, given the age of the people involved. If they fell over in the parking lot with a heart attack, help could be there sooner...or maybe not.

Here at work, short staffed. I was going to pick up an extra shift since I had the weekend off, but not now.

Having morning coffee and taking meds. I have a pile of paperwork on my desk I'll have to attend to afterward.

After 3 days of tinkering I got the snowblower to run this morning.

Procrastinating...I 'need' to groom the dogs but just don't seem to 'want' to.

Cranked up my log splitter, leaking fluid. Is this the year to test whether my children are worthy of our cold adapted inheritance?
