Contemplating my last day at the age of 64. Seems hard to believe that I have made it this long. Some things done to me and some things I did to myself led me to believe I would never see 65...yet, there it looms on the horizon.

Having a beer. I'm feeling lazy today. I slept an hour later than I have been this morning. I was going to make something for dinner but grabbed ready-to-heat beef kabobs at Whole Foods instead.

Both restless and depressed today. Usually sewing is something that makes me feel better but I don't even want to do that. Think it's a combination of the upcoming birthday and not being able to go home this week as planned. Slept about 16 hours yesterday and think I am ready for a nap. Waiting to snap out of this funk. Even getting in the pool didn't help. sigh

now now ... watching Jumanji: The next level ... drinking prosecco eating strawberries and that's my birthday party hehe ... but it's cool, a bit too hot, still 26 degrees even when it's almost 11pm Happy Dance
