What's everyone up to right now?

Hooking up my new 34" ultrawide monitor. It's a bit of a monster, and weighing 22 pounds it was a bit tricky to setup up by myself (my ILS worker is out), but it looks fine. No dead pixels that I can see. It's going to take some learning and probably some added software to learn how to utilize all that space efficiently. Moving the mouse from one side to the other is a good bit of distance on an ultrawide. I've got it hooked up with an HDMI cable right now, and I need to test the Displayport connection, but maybe tomorrow. It's enough for today to know that it works and won't need to be returned, at least as far as I can tell so far.

Watching the Australian Pink Floyd show “In the Flesh” at Ravinia. It’s my last show of the season.

Weird thing to note, apparently Steve Mac (our ersatz David Gilmour) supposedly has gone out of his way to make a rig that’s as close as possible as David Gilmour’s real rig, but, for whatever reason, the guitar he’s playing just looks like a normal sunburst Stratocaster and not the Black Strat that he used on everything so iconic that it even has its own fucking Wikipedia article. He’s even using it when hers supposed to be using a lap steel. Though maybe he’s put the right pickups in so it sounds like the real thing.

A friend of mine is coming over for lunch today so, after I finish my morning coffee, I'm going to do some cleaning up in the kitchen and take a bath.
