Relaxing with a bottle of Riesling from Romania. I've still got a handful of bottles from a wine phase that I briefly went through last year. I figure I might as well drink them rather than just toss them. So I fished out my rechargeable automated corkscrew and was all prepared to see if it still had a charge, whereupon I discovered the bottle had a screw cap and not a cork. Still, I'll recharge the thing and see how much wine I can stand and how fast before I blow a gasket and have to go back to whiskey and beer.

Damnitall. First I damage the screen of my TV by losing control of a stack of plastic storage containers and crashing them into the screen, and now my main computer has died. And things were going so well.

On the bus home last night there was some dude loudly telling a woman across the aisle about how the evil ones had been with us for centuries. I'm not antitheist, but I so badly wanted to tell him where to put that bullshit.
