F'd up my lower back last Sunday and haven't been out of bed since Wednesday. Spent 6 hours in th ER and finally got steroids, opiates and diazepam then sent home. Suppose to make a specialist appt next Monday. I see an MRI in my future also.

Ugh, I can commiserate. Hope you feel better soon.
I got an oral NSAID and self-service injectable steroids. Opiates are really difficult to get here, harder than the US (unless you want illicit cartel fentanyl, that's easy to get). Went to the imaging clinic, they made me an appointment for MRI at 7pm today. Total cost w/o insurance = $254 USD. I paid 10 times that for an MRI in the USA in March.

Tony Shalhoub is and always will be Monk.
Can't you understand that!?
It's a jungle out there
Disorder and confusion everywhere
No one seems to care
Well, I do
Hey! Who's in charge here?
It's a jungle out there
Poison in the very air we breathe
You know what's in the water that you drink?
Well I do, and it's amazing
People think I'm crazy, 'cause I worry all the time
If you paid attention, you'd be worried too
You better pay attention
Or this world we love so much might just kill you
I could be wrong now, but I don't think so
'Cause it's a jungle out there, it's a jungle out there
It's a jungle out there
Violence and danger everywhere
It's brother against brother pounding on each other
Like they were millionaires
It's a jungle out there
It's a jungle in here, too
You gonna tap out on your phone
That microphone, that camera checking out everything you do
Call it paranoia, as the saying goes
Even paranoia's an enemy
I'm not the one who's crazy, I'm not afraid to live
They're afraid of you and me
I could be wrong now, but I don't think so
'Cause it's a jungle out there
Yeah, it's a jungle out there
It's a jungle out there
Even the cops are scared today
So if you see a uniform
Do exactly what they say
Or make a run for it
I'm only kidding with you!
'Cause it's a jungle out there
It's a jungle out there!

Lad, when you reply to somebody you need to in some way follow their post. You get that?

That one is obviously broken.
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.

Yes, no-one does even have a clue how much that one is.
Last evening, 19 h - 20 h, I watched "Monk" (2005).
No more to say.

Time to get moving with getting ready for graduation. It's been so long since I have done full makeup, zhuzhed up my hair, and worn something other than 'my office is in the other room' attire that I am not sure where to start.

After issues with my iPad charging (it’s fine now) and a giant fucking train delaying my lunch, I managed to squeeze in some time to go to Half Price Books for their 20% off sale.
Did not expect Everything Everywhere All At Once to be at a reasonable price point so quickly, let alone finding a hardcover of Robert Graysmith’s biography of Ted Cruz.

I was born with the gift of laughter and a sense the world is mad.
