So, I've been back for at work for 5 weeks after my cervical spine happy fun times.  Last Saturday, my lumbar spine sat up and said hello.   Saw a doc today that a friend recommended, have orders for an MRI, I learned of an imaging clinic that accepts walk-ins for MRI.

F'd up my lower back last Sunday and haven't been out of bed since Wednesday. Spent 6 hours in th ER and finally got steroids, opiates and diazepam then sent home. Suppose to make a specialist appt next Monday. I see an MRI in my future also.

I got an oral NSAID and self-service injectable steroids. Opiates are really difficult to get here, harder than the US (unless you want illicit cartel fentanyl, that's easy to get). Went to the imaging clinic, they made me an appointment for MRI at 7pm today. Total cost w/o insurance = $254 USD. I paid 10 times that for an MRI in the USA in March.

After issues with my iPad charging (it’s fine now) and a giant fucking train delaying my lunch, I managed to squeeze in some time to go to Half Price Books for their 20% off sale.

Did not expect Everything Everywhere All At Once to be at a reasonable price point so quickly, let alone finding a hardcover of Robert Graysmith’s biography of Ted Cruz.
