It's been 10 minutes and I'm still bored.

I'm down to my last two near beers. I hope my Visa rolls over tomorrow. In the month since I started, I've been averaging 3/4 of a near beer a day. I can live with that.

I found some more decently priced Crocs that I like.  Maybe I should stop shopping for myself and refocus on buying gifts for my sister's birthday.  Nah!

Wondering if the Raspberry Pi shortage has improved. I'm building a new server and I'd sure like to stick a PiKVM in it.

(I guess not. They want $70 for the cheapest one of the current model. I'll have to scrounge Ebay. I've got an older one but I don't know what model it is.)

Setting up my new router that I bought. I didn't need a new one, but this one allows the use of third-party firmware, which is more full-featured than standard router software, and it was cheap as an Amazon Renewed product (it was $60 and it's a $200 device)[note 1]. It seems to be working, which is all that I wanted to know for now as the return window closes on August 8.

They always say that "password" is a poor password to have, I wonder if the same applies to, "nopassword," which is my current password.

Baseball game doesn't start until 8:40 tonight. I guess I'll watch it in the morning.

Well that was a brief bit of a scare. I was getting terrible Wifi speeds from the new router. It turns out it was the cable between the cable modem and the router, not the Wifi.

Just talked with older daughter. There will be a second surgery on other daughter's leg on Wednesday. Pictures I received look like Shawn's leg is held together with a erector set. For a while the docs thought she would lose her foot but are now more optimistic.

Older daughter spent the day with her niece and nephew and is exhausted. I hope she gets some rest tomorrow. I don't need to worry about her being completely exhausted when it comes time to drive back to TX.

The kids seems to have healed fine from the accident...youth is a wonderful thing.

Just cleaned up sweet tea off my leg, foot, the counter, and the kitchen floor. Made a fresh pitcher and was going to put it in the fridge and the handle snapped...not yet iced tea everywhere.

Just ordered a couple new pitchers. sigh
