I ordered a Cajun turkey brining kit. It's making me reconsider getting a whole turkey.

I can get one sooner for about the same. I think it ate my credit card points when I canceled, though.

Apparently the points get refunded within 48 hours. I had hoped to deposit some plasma money on the way home but the cash machine was broken. I'd also hoped to hit the liquor store.

Seeing how little I got done today, I'm just going to stay home, watch football, drink beer, and cuddle with my new roasting pan.

Oh, and I took another look at the turkey breasts at Target. I was wondering why they were only $1.49 a pound at Lake St -- it turns out it was just that one turkey breast, the others are $1.99.

I forgot the coffee filters before this morning's delivery. I had to return something, so I picked up filters.... and forgot to get cooking bags for turkey.

Briefly lost the wireless mouse for my laptop. Eventually found it, but I decided it would be better to change to a wired mouse, so I walked to Target and bought one for $10. It works well enough.
