What's everyone up to right now?

Now, around this time, I'm usually at my local brewpub for a trivia night. This time, however, I had to quit about a third of the way in. Why? Because some jackass decided to sit at the table where my Dad and I were sitting. This wouldn't have been so bad if not for the fact that A) he kept talking during the questions, and B) during one question, saw me picking up my phone (that's how we send our answers), and assumed I must be cheating. He would not shut the fuck up about it, and we decided the best thing to do would be to leave. And the kicker? Given that it was a sports question, and we're not big on sports, I'd probably have come up with a joke answer, like "The Norfolk Necrophiles" or "The Denver Larsonians."

Making overnight oats. It's the one thing that I wanted to accomplish today. Now I can decide when to head to Maplewood to donate plasma. I need to exercise, eat, and shower, so two hours or so.

Waiting on my Walmart order. I discovered that Walmart carries Challenge butter, which has a good rep. And it's only a buck more than the cheap stuff.

Brewing a second pot of coffee. Fresh ground Costa Rica. And discovering that my current grinder is a bit of a PITA. It's different from ground coffee. More flavors, but not necessarily better. Different.

My birthday is in March, so I may buy myself some coffee gear when it rolls around. Still debating my current coffee maker choice. At $60 for the whole shebang, upgrading later isn't painful. But my current machine isn't terrible, either.

I was feeling good yesterday, but today something has hit me with a vengeance.

Amazon has the Oxo coffee grinder on sale, and Target is price matching. So I get a few dollars off, and then a few dollars more with my Target card, and because it's Target I have 120 days to decide whether to keep it. So I'm grabbing one and I'll decide later whether to keep it or not. I'm thinking fresh ground is not really for me, but I've got time to figure that out.
